We took our trip to the Phoenix Area in December of 1996. While there we visited with Gene & Jenny and their family. We attended a Cowboys-Cardinals game while there. This was Jeremy's first NFL game. The Cowboys won and we all enjoyed the excitement! We went to a zoo and to a Botanical Garden. I never realized there were so many different cactus. We went to Cave Creek where we visted the brewery where they brew Chili Beer and then ate at the resteraunt next to the brewery. It was called the Satisfied Frog and the food was excellent! Being from "Snow Country" in the midwest, Arizona feels pretty good in December, although it gets rather chilly at night. The temperatures come up with sun. The people of Arizona puts Christmas lights on everything in sight. No snow, but it is pretty festive just the same. The trip wouldn't be complete without a stop at the Hard Rock Cafe.
