Seattle

We made our trip to the Seattle area in June of 1996. Our tour guides were Don & Pam. We visited the Seattle Space Needle and had dinner at the top. If you have never done this and you are going to Seattle, it's worth it! The restaurant rotates and the view is absolutely incredible at a rate of one complete turn per hour. Seafood was the meal!! Yum...Fresh and good. If you decide to eat at the needle, be sure to have your reservations 30 days in advance. It is definitely worth the wait! We also went Mt. Rainier National Park. It was June and in the 70's and snow on the ground! The trails to the top of the mountain were snowed shut, so we couldn't go up. (Maybe next time!) We also saw Christine Falls and Snoqualmie Falls. We visited Pikes Market where, you guessed it, we bought a salmon to cook on the grill. This is the place that when you pick your open air fish, they toss it to a guy who wraps the fish in newspaper for you. We went to the Seattle Aquarium and spent a day going through Boeing. This was really awesome. It was the size of 75 football fields! We went to Gig Harbor one day going across a "floating" highway and went shopping and then brought the ferry back across in time to see Seattle's Skyline at night! Another truly awesome sight! The reflection of the water is something a person cannot forget. Took some pictures, but unfortunately, they didn't turn out. We spent one day going to The Redhook Brewery and 2 Wineries. We went to the Museum of Flight which was large and had a lot of exhibits. We ended our trip by getting together with Julie, Brian, Dillon and Aunt Terry to eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory.

Ouch!
Can you beleive this is June?
There was a bet here. If Uncle Don was able to hit Jeremy with a snowball, Jeremy would have to wear a Seattle Seahawks shirt. He lost the bet and DIDN'T wear the shirt!
